When should I contact you to discuss the flowers for my event?
6-9 months before your wedding date is usually sufficient to secure our services. However, quite often our clients will contact us to begin the process up to 12 months before the event. For the busiest times of year (May-October) the earlier you contact us the better. We have also planned gorgeous events for clients in a much tighter time frame (2 weeks). We book a limited number of events; don’t put off calling us too long.
What is your service area?
Flower Essence will travel up to 2 hours from Kemptville, Ontario for normal event set-up.
Do you offer other décor items besides flowers?
We are happy to offer a wide variety of rental decor items for exclusive use of Flower Essence clients. Including variety of vases, several styles of votive candles, easel, pillars, ceremony vases, custom-made arbors and chuppa, custom shepherd hooks, vintage table, vintage windows and doors.
Have you worked at my venue before?
Flower Essence has worked at most of the wedding venues in Ottawa, Gatineau and the surrounding area. Iif we have not worked at your venue before, we would be happy to do a site visit with you.
What happens to my flowers after the event?
Flowers are donated to a seniors center where they continue to bring joy.
